Old Tree
The single tree stands there alone Old and gnarled it hangs bare In two halves the old tree sags The years brought up now weigh down. But your eyes don’t see me Where that old tree barely stands I see visions of a beautiful dance With musical lights and a new world. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
